Who We Are

Navigate Japan Limited is an Auckland company founded by Ken Yonei - a second-generation Japanese New Zealander with over 15 years of professional experience across Japan, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific.

Ken built this company on a simple belief: trust is earned through actions, not promises. Every service we offer comes with written commitments, clear timelines, and genuine respect for the people we work with and the communities we're part of.

Co-Founder and COO, Shogo’s journey with Navigate Japan Limited began during his time in New Zealand, where he and Ken connected over a shared dream: to build a company rooted in genuine care and integrity.

Operating from Japan, Shogo drives the operation of the business. He ensures that the vision is executed seamlessly, bridging both countries with the same unwavering commitment to our clients.

Right now, we're focused on one thing: delivering Home & Heart Clearance to Auckland families, property professionals, and estate lawyers with the care and rigour it deserves. Other services are in development and will follow when the foundation is solid.

Our Approach

Community first - Profitability follows strong relationships - not the other way around.

Cultural humility - We engage with all cultures without assumption or tokenism. This is a daily practice, not a marketing position.

Radical transparency - Written quotes, signed disposal caps, aftercare reports at every step. No surprises.

Waste as a last resort - Every clearance routes salvageable goods through auction, charity, and community before anything reaches a transfer station.

Honest realism - We don't over-promise. If a service isn't ready, we'll tell you.

Our Services

Home & Heart Clearance

"A proper farewell. Not disposal. " Home & Heart Clearance is Auckland's specialist estate and property clearance service - and our primary focus right now. We offer four types of clearance: deceased estates, abandoned tenancies, small salvage pickups, and room or garage clearances.

What sets us apart is the Farewell Framework - three tiers tailored to each family's needs. A Māori farewell (takahi whare and karakia, delivered by a standing kaumātua). A secular farewell - quiet acknowledgement, significant items photographed. Or a standard professional clearance, executed with full care throughout.

Navigate Business

Navigate Business draws on Ken's 15+ years of Japan and New Zealand business experience to support a small number of clients each year. We work with New Zealand companies seeking to enter Japanese markets, and Japanese businesses navigating New Zealand - covering market entry, cross-cultural communication, and relationship development.

Navigate Vibes

Navigate Vibes is a free library of AI-generated music for creators, businesses, and community organisations - no licensing fees, no strings attached. Currently in development. We'll announce when it's live.

Our Vision

To become New Zealand's most trusted, culturally literate services company - one that communities refer to by name, professionals trust without hesitation, and families turn to in their most difficult moments.
