IZANAMI and IZANAGI take their names from Japanese myth: among the yaoyorozu no kami, the eight million gods of Shinto tradition, they are the primordial pair said to have created the Japanese islands themselves. It is a fitting origin for a project built on duality: two AI artists, two moods, one shared world.
All of our music is 100% AI-generated, and we are proud to say so up front. IZANAMI and IZANAGI make Lo-fi Hip Hop, Japanese City Pop and ambient soundscapes, released steadily since late 2024.
