Estate & property clearance
for all of Auckland

What We Clear

Deceased Estate Clearance

Comprehensive clearance of a loved one's home — conducted with unhurried care, item-by-item attention, and a farewell framework that honours your family's wishes. Referred by estate lawyers and probate specialists across Auckland.

Property Management Clearance

Rapid, professional clearance of abandoned tenancy and void-period properties. Photo-based quoting for speed. Reliable scheduling. We work alongside property managers across the Auckland region.

Overseas Family Clearance

Shipping and storage options available for families with overseas connections. Families are able to see off belongings through video calls and receive photos and reports of belongings. Referred to by word-of-mouth by our local community.

For every family

A farewell

framework that

fits

Every client is offered a choice. No assumption is made about religion, culture, or preference. We ask — and we honour what we hear.

Additional religious requests — Buddhist, Christian, or other — are accommodated privately through standing contacts on request.

  • A tohunga or kaumātua performs karakia to lift the tapu of death from the property and its belongings before clearance begins. Available to any Auckland family who finds it appropriate. Home & Heart maintains a standing kaumātua contact, or families may nominate their own.

  • For families who want quiet acknowledgement without ceremony. Significant items are set aside, photographed with care, and a moment of recognition is shared before the clearance proceeds. No external contact required.

  • The default for most clients. Items handled with respect throughout. No ceremony, no delay. The same attentive service — without a formal farewell component.

Initial consultation

We meet you — in person or by phone — to understand the property, the family's wishes, and the farewell preference. No assumptions. No rush.

Farewell arrangement

If requested, the chosen farewell tier is coordinated before clearance day. Takahi whare, secular, or standard — all equally honoured.

Salvage & liquidation

Salvageable goods are routed through our four-tier strategy — specialist auction houses through to charity donation — to extract value rather than increase landfill.

Site assessment & quote

We visit the property to assess volume and item categories. The formal quote is issued after this visit — never from photos alone. A written disposal weight cap is included.

Clearance day

A caring team — minimum 3–4 workers for full estate clearances — sort every item with family instructions in hand. Nothing is disposed of without clear authorisation.

Aftercare

A summary of what was kept, consigned, donated, and disposed of is prepared for the family.
