Terms & Conditions
What using this catalogue means, in plain terms — for creators, and for us.
What's covered here
What Navigate Vibes Is
Navigate Vibes is a catalogue of 100% AI-generated music, released under two AI artist personas, IZANAMI and IZANAGI, and operated by Navigate Japan Limited (“NJL”, “we”, “us”), a New Zealand company.
Part A of these terms covers your free use of the Open Vault: every track released by IZANAMI or IZANAGI before 3 November 2026, on navigatejapanltd.com or on our official channels on third-party platforms. Songs released on or after that date are covered by Part B, the Song Licence Terms.
Accepting These Terms
By using an Open Vault track in your own content, you agree to Part A. No account or sign-up is needed. By buying a song licence, you agree to Part B.
The Licence We Grant You
Every Open Vault track is free to use in your own content: videos, streams, podcasts and social posts, including monetised content. We charge no royalty or licence fee, and credit is welcome but not required.
This licence is non-exclusive, worldwide and does not expire. It is not a transfer of ownership; see Section 6.
What the Licence Does Not Cover
You may not:
- resell, re-upload or distribute a track on its own as music, including in music libraries or sample packs;
- claim a track as your own composition or recording, or register it with YouTube Content ID or any similar fingerprinting service;
- use a track to train, test or improve any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model;
- play a track as background music in a business, such as a café, shop, gym or office, without asking us first;
- use a track in a way that is unlawful or defamatory, or that promotes hatred or violence.
Formal brand partnerships, sponsorships and bespoke licensing need a separate written agreement.
100% AI-Generated Music
Every track is 100% AI-generated, and we say so openly. If a platform asks you to label content that includes AI-generated music, please follow its rules.
Ownership and Intellectual Property
Section 5(2)(a) of New Zealand's Copyright Act 1994 treats the author of a computer-generated work as the person who made the arrangements needed to create it. On that basis, NJL is likely the author of the Navigate Vibes catalogue under New Zealand law.
This isn't the same everywhere
In some countries, including the United States, purely AI-generated material is not protected by copyright. Our rights therefore vary by country, which is one reason the free licence is generous.
Track titles, the IZANAMI and IZANAGI names and the Navigate Vibes branding remain ours in every country.
Content ID and Claims
We do not register Navigate Vibes tracks with YouTube Content ID or similar services. If your content receives a claim involving one of our tracks, contact us and we will help you resolve it.
Third-Party Platforms
Streaming or using our tracks through Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok or any other platform is also governed by that platform's terms. Where a platform's rules are stricter than ours, its rules apply on that platform.
Newer Songs and Business Use
Songs released on or after 3 November 2026 can be heard on our site and on music platforms, but they are not in the Open Vault, and Part A does not let you use them. To use one, buy a song licence on our site; Part B then applies.
Playing any of our tracks as background music in a business needs our separate permission; please contact us.
No Warranty, Limited Liability
The Open Vault is free and provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that a track is unique, will stay available or suits a particular purpose.
To the extent New Zealand law permits, NJL is not liable for any loss or damage from your use of the Open Vault, including any claim that your content infringes someone else's rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. A change applies only to uses that begin after it takes effect; uses made under an earlier version stay covered by that version. The version and date at the top always show the current terms.
Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Song Licence Terms
Version 1.0 · Effective 3 November 2026. These terms apply when you buy a licence to use a Navigate Vibes song released on or after 3 November 2026. The song stays released for everyone to hear, and other people may license it too.
What You Get
A licence to use the song named on your receipt (the “Song”), its WAV and MP3 files, and a licence certificate.
The Licence
When your payment clears, NJL grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide licence, with no time limit, to use the Song in your own projects and in projects you make for clients: videos, streams, podcasts, adverts, apps, games, presentations and social posts, including monetised ones.
Not Exclusive
The Song stays released on streaming platforms, YouTube, the Navigate Vibes radio and our website, and NJL may license it to others. The licence does not transfer ownership.
What the Licence Does Not Cover
You may not:
- resell, re-upload or distribute the Song on its own as music, including in music libraries, sample packs or templates sold to others;
- claim the Song as your own composition or recording, or register it with YouTube Content ID or any similar service;
- use the Song to train, test or improve any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model;
- use the Song as background music in a business, or in broadcast television or cinema, without our separate permission;
- use the Song in a way that is unlawful or defamatory, or that promotes hatred or violence.
Claims
NJL does not register the Song with Content ID or similar services. If your content receives a claim involving the Song, contact us with your order number and we will help you resolve it.
AI-Generated Music
The Song is 100% AI-generated. It was made with Suno on a paid plan, then selected and edited by Navigate Vibes. If a platform asks you to label AI-generated content, please follow its rules.
What NJL Does Not Promise
- That copyright exists in the Song in every country. In some countries, purely AI-generated material is not protected.
- That no similar song exists. AI tools can produce similar music for other people.
- That no one else holds any right in the Song. Under its terms, Suno keeps its own licence over outputs made with its service.
- Exclusivity. Other people may license the same Song.
Price, Payment and Delivery
You pay the price shown at checkout. Our online reseller, Lemon Squeezy, is the merchant of record: it takes payment and handles any sales tax, VAT or GST. The files and certificate are delivered as soon as payment clears.
Refunds
Because the files are delivered at once, refunds are not available once you have downloaded them, except where the law requires. If a file is faulty, we will replace it.
Liability
To the extent the law permits, NJL's total liability is limited to the price you paid, and NJL is not liable for indirect loss.
